Windows Antivirus
It seems as though as of a month ago, Microsoft has made their antivirus program free for all genuine windows operating systems.
It also seems that this is the perfect time to switch to them, because it turns out that AVG’s most recent patch has been known to cause computers to freeze.
My suggestion, remove Avast and AVG and install Microsoft’s prog.

Select your language and Operating System type, and bam, one speed.
Did it on my desktop and laptop, took maybe 4min?
Highly recommended.
