Gaming headset

I'm looking to buy a good gaming mic/headphone set. Looking at $50 or under, pref. under. How much did you pay and how do you like yours? My head is a bit above average in size I'd say, but that's due to all the alpha inside. Also must be able to accommodate a steadily growing mandbeard.

Logitech has several good headsets that you can get at any Target for a reasonable price. I used several of them before switching to my Turtle Beach set.
